Don't take too long to say I Love You

I spent the past two hours blogging and viewing blogs. Adding the new links and removing the really stagnant or my friend had changed the url.

Yes i'm at work.. I did not slack! I have done most of the things that I have to do.. and the rest can go at a slower pace. Office is so empty and quiet today. Except for some calls that i gotta reject. We only have 2 professional staff, and 2 support staff today. :(

The rest have gone for meetings, trainings and leave. Am left with a pathetic 7.5days of leave.. Very thrifty on using them in case i need them. Wanted to take 24th Dec cos it falls on a Mon this year.. and Tues is Christmas day! WAS looking forward to a long weekend however the other two support staff will be on leave.. since i'm staying near... hmmmm, ok, i shall stay in office and work. Hehe. Anyway the programs(if any) will be on in the night wad... so can save one day. =p

Preparing to take leave for the upcoming camp if its gonna fall on weekdays. If not, i can bring 7days over to next year... and makes me 21 days of AL next year!!! WOW! However, so much leave also no use... Mum wont allow me to go overseas.... :( and i dont foresee my family will be out of country for the time being as Grandma who's ill is staying in our house. No, i dont mean she's a bother, she's a blessing. My family has the honour to take care of her even in her old age. She's 88 this year. Though weak, but we still love her alot despite her calling for us every moment... Can be irritating at times, but yea, honour my parents, my parents' parent too.

Seriously, I ever thought of living with my in-laws in future. I mean.. I will want some two person time, maybe when my in-laws are older in age... i'll probably volunteer to move in. Did i mention I want to be a housewife? HAHA.

Seeing so many different cases coming in... I think a parent at home to discipline and spend time with the children is important. In this generation, most parents would leave their kid(s) with a maid, with their parents and go out to work. I agree that life is not that easy without a good income and definitely, money can buy stuff to make us happy though they cant buy happiness directly. However, I would rather invest my time in my children than work work work to earn money forsaking my kids. Dont get me wrong, not all parents who work are bad or cannot educate their children well.

To me, i just like to have quality time coaching my children therefore i think this is important. Personally I've experienced the importance of having a parent at home. My mum is a housewife while my dad is the breadwinner. My dad doesn't earn alot. We just get to do with the income. I spent alot last time.. so it was rather taxing, now that i'm working and i'm supporting myself... They only have two kids to support. hehe.

Back to the topic. Mum always watch us study, do our homework and make sure we have good rest(she nags at us to sleep, wakes me up in the mornings) and eat well(my mum is a great cook!). Though she's not highly educated, she reads up the dictionary to help us with our schoolwork. She's just that patient ok... She's home looking after Grandma.. Making sure the maid is doing her job(my mum is so nice to her.. she eats more than i eat! she sleeps at 8pm, wakes up at 6am.. no wonder she's getting more "prosperous". HAHA). She gets me the things that I want giving up on what she wants(yea... i will buy her the things she wants). She supports me and gives me the freedom i needed. Like studying a private course looking forward to be a counsellor that doesn't earn ALOT.. Allows me to go out but she'll be ringing my phone after 11pm. She says Bye to me at the door never failing to ask if i'll be back for dinner.

My mum is really a Xian Qi Liang Mu!! She's always proud of me too!

My dad... He appears fierce and cold, but the fact is he's not!! We used to not communicate that much.. and i thought he didn't cared or concern for me.. Until Mum told me one day that he's always asking if i'll be back for dinner if i'm not home by 6.30pm(I knock off at 6pm). Catching up about my movements and life through my mum.. Understands that being a role of a father, it may be hard for him to express himself. When i blow my hair or put on make up beside him, i know he must be thinking "my daughter is so pretty.." HAHA! Which parent will say his/her daughter is ugly! Though he always doesn't admits it.............. I KNOW IT and thats enough! HAHA.

Cut everything short cos it's lunch time now. I must start praying that I have a good husband who will be able to support the family in future so i can be like my mum. HEHE. I must be SPECIFIC. It's too early for me right... but no harm praying for it.

I LOVE MY FAMILY!! MY SIS AND BRO TOO! Am still trying to find the courage to say I Love You to them face to face. HAHAHA. Can someone tell me if its that easy? Or anyone of you did tell your parents face to face I Love You at the age of 18 and above?

Long post. BYE!
