Retreat
I just received the email from Director regarding the notes for the retreat. and guess wad... i was super shocked out of my life. haha.We are to study the book of Nehemiah(the book which is one of the most unfamiliar) and answer the questions ourselves before the retreat. Oh my... Additional homework. Not a very very fun retreat. But i believe there's must be a reason why God wants us to study this book.
This came out of one of our committee member HL, he's a lay pastor. If you havent know, my office has 80% Christians, including all the superiors. I should say almost all la.. and out of that, we have CGLs in their own churches, Pastor's wives..
Reading Nehemiah will be a challenge for me, to be frank, it takes alot of time and effort to understand this book. And i had never turned to that book for any reference so far. Stressed! Ok, after retreat, i'll be Nehemiah "trained". LOL.
Yes, spiritual discipline. Gonna add this to my daily devotion.. Still got time until the retreat. =/
