In interpersonal skills, i've learnt that there are many modes of communication. the most in or recent ones are MSN or SMS.There are cheap, or even free! thats why its preferred for many people. however, we need to be aware about the disadvantages of these modes.
Sometimes, we dont consider how the other party will read our text as. Thats why the way we phrase our sentences, the words we use plays a big part in communication. We just wont know.
I prefer calling now. You can hear the person clearly.. saving those smses just to get one info which can be gotten over the phone in 1min. Phone calls are also more effective. People may just leave their phone somewhere or in silent mode, calling can help by creating more vibration.
Calling is better than sms because it prevents more excuses than not seeing the message. still, people are always good at making excuses! I dont deny that i still have the tendency too! but now i give valid reasons! not excuses! some worse, stupid excuses that can be read through immediately that he/she just want to escape.
Anyway, why am i blogging this topic when i'm suppose to clear my table? tornado and mountains are up. my Director commented that it seems like i have more work than her cos my work area which is 2 times of hers is filled with so many things! HAHAHA. I'm hardworking huh? another interpretation, yan is just procrastinating. always "waiting" for the perfect time to do her work. right now, i think i belong to the latter category.
Very excited for the National Day!! =p I love Singapore! but i love them more because i have holidays! Much more if the Fri was a P.H too! =)
